Straipsnis Joga kaip holistinės asmenybės saviugdos praktika

Autoriai Žr. Dale Carnegie, Kaip gyventi turtingą ir turiningą gyvenimą, 2011; Napoleon Hill, Mąstyk ir būk turtingas! Suklestėk per metus, 2014. minties jėgą susieja su kryptingu gyvenimo tikslų ar svajonių įgyvendinimu: aiškaus tikslo apsibrėžimas bei intensyvus susitelkimas į jį sukuria savyje energiją, kuri padeda surasti reikalingus išteklius ar galimybes tikslams įgyvendinti, pritraukia sėkmę. Taigi, tyrimo dalyviai gilių meditacijų metu mokosi perprogramuoti savo sąmonę, kad formuotų sėkmingesnę asmenybę bei įgyvendintų gyvenimo tikslus:
Užmigimo visokios technikos: vakare atlieki tam tikrą pratimą ir tu visiškai gerai užmiegi. Pabudimo technikos: kada tau reikia pabusti šeštą valandą ryte, nors atsigulei pirmą, ir tu visiškai pabundi pakankamai gerai išsimiegojęs… D1; […] Aš panaudojau specialią psichologinę praktiką, kada žmogus gali prisiminti vaikystės prisiminimus. D3; […] Aš prisiminiau metodiką „Šičko“ G. Šičko 1987 m. sukūrė medicinos, psichologijos ir pedagogikos žiniomis pagrįstą gydymo metodą ydingiems stereotipams griauti, įvairioms priklausomybėms gydyti, pasitelkiant žodinio, vaizdinio ar girdimo poveikio mechanizmus. […]: norint pakeisti programą galvoj, reikia vakare […] savitaiga užsiimti prieš pat miegant jau, ir tada naktį […] „lūžta“ tos programos. D6.

Vaizdiniai mintyse, kuriuos sąmoningai laikome tikrais, įdiegiami į pasąmonę ir pradeda reikštis žmogaus gyvenime Žr. Joseph Murphy, Per kitokį mąstymą į sveikatą, turtą ir laimę, 2008. . Moksliniais tyrimais įrodyta, jog pasąmonė negali atskirti realybės nuo tų minčių, kurios susikuriamos vaizduotėje, todėl viskas, kas įsivaizduojama, tampa tikrove ir kada nors išsipildo Žr. David Marks, “Imagery and Consciousness: A Theoretical Review from an Individual Differences Perspective,” 1997. . B. H. Lipton Žr. Bruce H. Lipton, Tikėjimo biologija, 2011. tvirtino, jog siekdami pagerinti savo fizinę bei psichinę sveikatą, privalome į gyvenimo lygį grąžinti dvasinį elementą: mūsų kūną ir protą valdo ne hormonai ar neuromediatoriai, o tikėjimas.

Visi žmonės turi ekstrasensorinių sugebėjimų, kuriuos lavinant – jie evoliucionuoja Žr. Rupert Sheldrake, The Presence of the Past: Morphic Resonance and the Habits of Nature, 2011; Larry Dossey, One Mind: How Our Individual Mind is Part of a Greater Consciousness and Why It Matters, 2013. , todėl joga tampa vienu esminiu įrankiu holistinės saviugdos procese:

Kada tu išmoksti tas technikas, […] pavyksta koncentruotis. Tada valia sustiprėja. D1; […] Meditacija – absoliutus kelias į kūrybą, […] atsipalaidavimą ar laisvę. D2; […] Pradėjau jausti tam tikrą džiaugsmo būseną […], kurio aš niekada anksčiau nebuvau patyręs. D11.

Tyrimai patvirtina, kad ši saviugdos praktika gerina fizinę sveikatą, didina koncentraciją, lavina atmintį, stabilizuoja nervinę sistemą bei plačiąja prasme skatina savęs pažinimą Žr. Ira Das, Himanianand, “Role of Prayer and ‘Om’ Meditation in Enhancing Galvanic Skin Response,” 2012; Amit Kauts, Neelam Sharma, “Effect of Yoga on Concentration and Memory in Relation to Stress,” 2012; Manjushambika Rajagopal, Sanchitha S. Pugazhanthi, Linu Sara George, “Study on Effectiveness of Meditation on Subjective Wellbeing, Anxiety and Study Habits of Undergraduate Nursing Students,” 2012; Archana Jadhav, N. G. Borade, Atul Jadhav, A. Pranita, “Study of Serum Malonyldialdehyde Levels as an Indicator of Oxidatives Stress During Short Term & Long Term Yoga Practices,” 2013; Shruti R. Pande, Surekha D. Kaundinya, Chandan K. Dey, “A Comparative Study of Effects of Meditation and Relaxation on Biophysical Parameters,” 2013. .

Summary. Modern education system is more focused on the development of learners’ mental intelligence and potential for economic productivity. However, the primary aim of education is neglected – to create conditions to develop persons as fully conscious and mature personalities with a strong character, stable value system, and revealed inner talents. The need for conscious self-development is formed, because the man is facing health problems and constant stress in modern society. The relevance of the problem becomes apparent by understanding that there is a lack of qualitative research revealing the concept of yoga as a holistic practice for conscious self-development. The main research question – what is typical for the experience of yoga as a holistic practice to conscious self-development of personality? The theoretical-philosophical basis for the study consists of the Eastern philosophy of education. The qualitative research using interpretative phenomenological elements has been carried out. The sample consisted of 12 research participants including 5 women and 7 men. Semi-structured and in-depth interviews were used in this study; data were processed basing on thematic analysis. The investigation has shown that yoga is a holistic practice for conscious self-development encompassing physical, mental and spiritual levels. Yoga is a form of self-knowledge and spiritual development aiming the formation of harmonious personality within improvement of health, development of consciousness, and the creation of spiritual relationship with yourself. It was found that yoga helps to achieve optimal results at the level of personality spiritual growth when the alert awareness is developed, intuition is amplified and when the subtle energetic power to know the unique human nature is mastered revealing inner talents and creative potential. For this purpose, skills of introspection, concentration and self-control are developed, also silencing the mind, listening to the sound, furthermore the methods of visualization and conscious reprogramming are applied. Meditation as the highest stage of yoga helps to make the strongest connection with the spiritual world by contact with the Cosmic Consciousness.

Keywords: holistic conscious self-development, yoga, meditation.
